Ok, I know I posted about this before, but I just went again and I have to give a shout-out to how COOL the El Cerrito Recycling Center is.

RECYCLE IT: Bricks, exercise equipment, batteries, oil, medicine, e-waste, aluminum windows…and on and on and on…

DONATE IT: Goodwill truck hangs out just outside of the gates

EXCHANGE IT: There is an Exchange Zone, which is a free, community-run materials exchange- just bring in your gently-used stuff and maybe you will find something to put in its place.

MULCH IT: Need some?  They have it!

It is, in a round-about-sort-of way, the sweetest recycling center there is.
